PickUp Basketball is an independent side project exploring how a sports-themed physical card game can help kids develop STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) skills through inclusive, culturally relevant, game-based learning. The game-play and card design was developed and refined over the course of 2 years. The product launched in the form of a Kickstarter and was funded in less than 24 hours. A full public release is set for 2022.
